'Eva
Braun' tells the incredible love story of the girl with Adolf Hitler.
The historical references are extremely precise and many of the
dialogues have been taken directly from Eva’s letters, from documents of
the period and from eye-witness reports of survivors. Through
the complex and compromised character of Eva the musical tells the
responsability of the silent masses in the genocide (of Jews, Gypsies,
disabled, women and children, tramps, artists, opposers, free thinkers…)
the so-called ‘willing executioners’, while the voice of Eva’s
conscience repeats throughout the work: to know is to take part! Major
roles, besides that of Eva, are played by her sisters Ilse and Gretl
and by her friend Herta, thus making feminine presence dominant in the
musical
